As we emerge from the challenging year that was 2020, MIMS Doctor presents our readers with a story about Dr David Low, a doctor practicing in the Histology Unit of the Pathology Department, Hospital Sultan Abdul Halim, Sungai Petani, Kedah. Like many of our young doctors, Low grew up in an urban setting, used to the comforts and amenities associated with city living. It came as a surprise to him and others around him when he fell in love with the small town, he was seconded to for his housemanship posting.
