After the success of our previous online scientific seminar
entitled Riding the Wave, Procter & Gamble Health in alliance with
the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians and the Philippine Pharmacists
Association were excited to present the next installment in the series, Breaking
the Wave.
Held virtually from April 28 – 29, 2022, this edition
tackled key factors in the transition from pandemic to recovery including
neuropathy, nutritional supplements, and immunity.
The speakers at this event were Prof. Rayaz Malik, Professor
of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College (Qatar); Dr. Arabinda Mukherjee,
Professor of Neurology at the Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences
(Calcutta); Dr. Aimee Andag-Silva, Chief of the Section of Endocrinology
at the De La Salle University Medical Center College of Medicine; Dr. Maria
Carmen Quevedo, Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and
Gynecology at Far Eastern University Nicanor Reyes Memorial Medical Center; Dr.
Antonio H. Chua, Pediatric Otorhinolaryngologist at St. Luke’s Medical Center –
Global City; and Dr. Keith Romeo Aguilera, Center Head of the
Comprehensive Sleep Disorders Center at St. Luke’s Medical Center – Global City.
The event’s moderators were Dr. Lynne Marcia Bautista, a fellow of the
Philippine Association of Family Physicians; Mr. Mark Ryan Langit,
professor at the Saint Louis University College of Pharmacy; and Dr. Digna Almeida,
Senior
Medical & Technical Affairs Manager of P&G Health.
