Liver cancer is a major cause of death globally and in Hong Kong. Both first- and second-line treatment of the disease have evolved considerably over recent years, following the approval of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). At present, over half of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients require second-line treatment, yet data on therapies administered after immunotherapy are lacking.
