Childhood exposure to parental smoking may up AF risk in later life
Exposure to secondhand smoke during childhood is associated with an increased risk of atrial fibrillation (AF) later in life, thus presenting childhood secondhand smoke exposure as a modifiable risk factor for AF, the Framingham Heart Study finds.
