Hội nghị thượng đỉnh: “Giải pháp đột phá bảo vệ Tim mạch – Thận – Chuyển hóa: Kết nối đa chuyên khoa – đa góc nhìn"

Vừa qua, vào ngày 20/11/2022,
Hội Tim mạch học Việt Nam đã phối hợp cùng công ty Boehringer Ingelheim Việt Nam tổ chức buổi hội nghị với chủ đề “Giải pháp đột phá bảo vệ tim mạch – thận – chuyển hóa: Kết nối đa chuyên khoa – đa góc nhìn”.

Hội nghị đã diễn ra thành công với sự tham gia của các chuyên gia hàng đầu trong lĩnh vực tim mạch – thận – chuyển hóa, nêu bật mối liên hệ mật thiết của các bệnh lý này, cũng như tầm quan trọng của việc tiếp cận toàn diện và bảo vệ sớm cho bệnh nhân. Buổi hội nghị cập nhật thêm các bằng chứng nghiên cứu mới trên nhóm ức chế kênh đồng vận chuyển natri-glucose 2 (SGLT2i) nói chung và empagliflozin nói riêng qua chương trình nghiên cứu EMPOWER, cũng như các khuyến cáo mới nhất từ trong nước và quốc tế, nhằm hướng đến mục tiêu tối ưu điều trị cho người bệnh.

Empagliflozin is the first SGLT-2i to significantly improve outcomes for patients with HF in any setting (in-hospital/outpatient), across the full spectrum of HF. Results from the EMPULSE trial showed that patients hospitalized for acute HF who were treated with empagliflozin following stabilization had 36% clinical benefit on the composite of mortality, HF events, and KCCQ-TSS improvement. The EMPULSE trial also provides a reassuring safety profile for empagliflozin that is consistent with previous trials.
