How common is HFmrEF and HFpEF?

Heart failure with mid-range ejection fraction (HFmrEF) and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF) are being increasingly recognized as serious healthcare problems. Increasing trend in the prevalence of HFpEF has been observed in Get With The Guidelines - Heart Failure (GWTG-HF) and CHART studies that were carried out in the US and Japan, respectively.
