A Guide on Primary Immunodeficiency Disease and Allergies

Primary immunodeficiency disease (PIDD) and allergies are two groups of conditions related to the immune system. However, they are uniquely different in terms of symptoms and treatment. Early screening and detection of PIDD and allergies ensure earliest diagnosis and treatment, which in turn, may improve patients’ and their caregivers’ quality of life. MIMS Doctor in collaboration with the Malaysian Society of Allergy and Immunology (MSAI) present to you a guidebook, which aims to raise the awareness of PIDD and allergies among medical professionals like you. We also hope this guidebook will be useful in helping you convey information on PIDD and allergies to your patients and their caregivers.
