Improving the Use of Combination Drug Therapy
01 Feb 2024
Heart failure (HF) poses a growing health challenge, impacting over 26 million people worldwide. Recently published in ESC Heart Failure, the MY-HF Registry stands as the first Malaysian multicenter, observational, 3-year prospective study of 2,717 Malaysian patients admitted for acute HF (New York Heart Association [NYHA] class II‒IV) from 18 participating hospitals across Malaysia. These hospitals include those under the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Higher Education, the National Heart Institute and a private cardiac hospital within the country. The MY-HF Registry, initiated by the National Heart Association of Malaysia, sheds light on the baseline characteristics, treatment patterns and outcomes of patients during their index hospitalisation for HF.
