MIMS to host COVID-19 webcast with experts

MIMS, Asia’s medical news and communications leader, will host a COVID conversations series for primary care physicians via a live webcast titled COVID-19: What it means to your clinic.

The event will take place on Friday, May 8, from 7–8 pm Hong Kong time, and will feature Hong Kong infectious diseases expert, Professor Ivan Hung. Leading Malaysian respiratory physician, Dr Helmy Haja Mydin, will be the discussant.

The webcast will cover practical clinical pearls for Asian primary care physicians and key points on how to prepare for the second wave of the outbreak.

Physician attendees will gain insights on how to diagnose and manage COVID-19 at a time when no antivirals are recommended, and no targeted treatment currently exists.
