Pos Malaysia’s Ubat Melalui Pos (UMP) service, launched in 2011, has been offering the delivery of prescription medication to patients located within the PosLaju area of coverage for a minimal fee.

The UMP service is convenient for patients since they are able to receive their medication at their mailing address, thus shortening their waiting time at government hospitals and clinics. The service also ensures the uninterrupted continuity of their monthly medication supply, thereby increasing their medication compliance.

Patients visiting 394 government hospitals and clinics nationwide have been able to utilize the UMP service. They just need to download the MyUBAT mobile application through Google Play, App Store or AppGallery, or seek further information at any Ministry of Health (MOH) healthcare facilities. Utilizing our expansive network that spans over 11 million addresses across the nation, we are grateful for the trust in us to make a significant difference in the lives of numerous patients.”

In addition to the most extensive last-mile reach, Pos Malaysia also has a network of more than 3,800 touchpoints with presence across the country, providing Malaysians with the most comprehensive retail network.

Zaini added that Pos Malaysia is committed to secure and timely delivery of medication and delivers about 60,000 parcels a month. “But we are not just delivering parcels, we are delivering hope to those who need it most. This service exemplifies our commitment as a responsible corporate entity constantly driving innovation, and we look forward to continuing our efforts to uplift lives and create a better tomorrow,” he said.
