The role of oral anticoagulant with direct thrombin inhibition in atrial fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation was the focus of discussion during a Boehringer Ingelheim-sponsored symposium in conjunction with the Malaysian Heart Rhythm Society Summit 2023. A panel of experts consisting of two Consultant Cardiologists and a Consultant Neurologist had a lively conversation on evidence-based practices in the management of atrial fibrillation. Some of the key points are presented here.
