An update on rabies post-exposure prophylaxis

On the 27^th November 2020, a virtual symposium was held to provide a report of the current status of human rabies in the Philippines and give updates on the World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines for the management of exposure to rabies with effective post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). Dr MK Sudarshan, a member of the WHO expert panel on rabies; Mentor and Founder President of Association for Prevention and Control of Rabies (APCR) in India, discussed the guidance and implementation of the rabies PEP regimen.
