Proactive Therapy  

In patients with moderate atopic dermatitis, intermittent application of a class II to III topical corticosteroid (1 to 2 times per week) or calcineurin (eg Tacrolimus) (2 to 3 times per week) as maintenance therapy on areas that commonly flare may help prevent disease relapse.
