Pancreatic cancer is malignancy arising from the pancreas, it is the 13th most common cancer in the world, 10th most common in the United States, and 4th leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United Stated and Europe.
Signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer include jaundice, abdominal pain, weight loss, fatigue, back pain, and symptoms secondary to compression caused by the tumor such as nausea and vomiting, anorexia, and dyspepsia.
Computed tomography (CT) is the preferred imaging study for the diagnosis and initial staging of pancreatic cancer.
Systemic therapy is utilized in all stages of PC which includes neoadjuvant therapy, adjuvant therapy and 1st-line or subsequent therapy for locally advanced, metastatic and recurrent pancreatic cancer.
